It is sad, but it isn’t THAT sad. What I mean is, Stan lived to be 95, which is more than many of us will reach. And what a LIFE he led— it strikes me that a day didn’t go by when he wasn’t busy working and enjoying what he loved- and reaping the benefits of course. From what I’ve read, Stan’s last years weren’t all that fun - apparently he was abused by his handlers, and of course in ill health. It’s so unfair that the remaining portion of our lives are miserable.. .but Stan is such an inspiration to me because he really sucked the marrow from life and gave it his all. He filled it to the brim. Time to rest now, Mr. Lee- you’ve earned it!
